Описано клінічний випадок діоктофімозу людини в поєднанні з раком нирки та цукровим діабетом 2-го типу. Імовірно, що причиною цього паразитарного ураження було вживання некип’яченої води або недостатньо термічно обробленої прісноводної риби. Крім того, у цьому описі представлені епідеміологічні та клінічні характеристики діоктофімозу людини, що покращує розуміння цього паразитарного ураження.

A medical case of human dioctophymosis in combination with kidney cancer and type 2 diabetes is described. Presumably the cause of this parasitic lesion was the consumption of unboiled water or insufficiently heat-treated coarse fish. Furthermore, the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of human dioctophymosis represented in this description, which improves the understanding of this parasitic lesion.
