Кафедрі організації і економіки фармації Львівського національного медичного університету імені Данила Галицького – 60 років. З погляду вічності не хвилина, а крихітна мить, з огляду на життя однієї людини – щедрий ужинок її долі. За цей час відбулось багато політично-інституційних та соціально-економічних змін на теренах України. І було б свято у всіх, хто мав і має відношення до цього ювілею.
Утім повномасштабна агресія росії проти України все змінила. Але попри виклики, які ставить нам війна, колектив кафедри вирішив поділитися своїми творчими здобутками, які є результатом роботи не окремих особистостей, а синергічним ефектом від наполегливої спільної праці і відповідальності всієї нашої великої команди за 60-літню історію – науково-педагогічних працівників, навчально-допоміжного персоналу, здобувачів вищої освіти, керівництва університету та його структурних підрозділів, а також роботодавців і науковців-партнерів!

PREFACE
The Department of Pharmacy Organization and Economics at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University is 60 years old. From the point of view of eternity, it is not a minute, but a tiny moment, and from the point of view of one person's life, it is a generous portion of his or her fate.
During this time, many political, institutional, social and economic changes have taken place in Ukraine. And it would have been a holiday for everyone who was and is related to this anniversary.
However, russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine changed everything. But despite the challenges posed by the war, the staff of the department decided to share their creative achievements, which are the result of the work not of individuals, but of the synergistic effect of the hard work and responsibility of our entire large team for our 60-year history - research and teaching staff, teaching and support staff, students, the management of the university and its structural units, as well as employers and research partners!

The multi-sided damages caused by the large-scale invasion of Russia has become a great challenge for the medical care system of Ukraine. This research is aimed at studying, analyzing and summarizing data from scientific publications, personal experience, and open sources of relevant information concerning changes that occur in the work within Ukraine’s healthcare system and the activity of medical staff due to the Russian invasion. Special attention has been paid to processes related to relocations of medical staff and health care establishments, field hospitals as an important tool during martial law, as well as for the different types of support provided by the international partners of Ukraine. Data concerning demographic shifts in Ukraine due to the 2022 Russia-Ukraine war are also presented. Moreover, SWOT analysis of changes in the system of health care in Ukraine during martial law has been performed. The process of regulating intake and consumption to maintain energy balance is called lipostasis. Disruption of this system and metabolism can lead to disorders that may also cause changes in the structure of the gut microbiota. Insulin and leptin are key feedback signals. Their complex interaction with specific receptors in the central nervous system influences human eating behavior (pioglitazone) and leptin resistance (metformin) in patients with type 2
diabetes mellitus, helping to restore normal lipostatic function.

Elucidation of the mechanisms of the development of liver steatosis, which are at the heart of the pathogenesis of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), will allow the introduction of new effective treatment methods into medical practice, as well as the development of new measures for the correction of this disease and accompanying pathologies. The purpose of the research is to establish the enzymatic activity of the complexes of the electron transport chain of the mitochondrial membrane of rat hepatocytes and to evaluate the corrective effect of the multiprobiotic “Symbiter acidophilic” concentrated or nanocrystalline cerium dioxide on the formation of steatohepatosis induced by neonatal sodium glutamate administration. The experiments were
carried out on 50 white non-linear male rats; the direction included the study of the mechanisms of the development of steatohepatosis in 4-month-old rats, which were administered monosodium glutamate in the neonatal period, and the study of the functional state of the liver in rats after the neonatal administration of monosodium glutamate against the background of periodic administration of a multiprobiotic or nanocrystalline dioxide cerium. It was established that neonatal administration of monosodium glutamate causes metabolic changes in 4-month-old rats, manifested in the disproportionate accumulation of fat with the development of visceral obesity without hyperphagia, dyslipidemia, and steatohepatosis. In 4-month-old rats, after neonatal
administration of sodium glutamate, the development of steatohepatosis was accompanied by mitochondrial dysfunction, which was manifested by changes in the lipid composition of the inner membrane of hepatocyte mitochondria with an increase in oxidized products and a change in the enzymatic activity of all complexes of the respiratory chain. In rats injected with monosodium glutamate in the neonatal period, periodic use of the multiprobiotic “Symbiter acidophilic” concentrated or nanocrystalline cerium dioxide significantly restored the functional state of the liver, reduced the manifestations of oxidative stress and prevented the development of steatohepatosis, which indicates the antioxidant effect of these drugs and the possibility of their use for prevention
of steatohepatosis.
